There are so many reasons why Hawaii County is the perfect place to buy real estate and
your next home, with many variety of homes and
communities to choose from. California's second largest
city and the United States' seventh largest, Hawaii
homes and property encompasses a citywide population of
approximately 1.3 million residents and more than 2.8
million residents throughout each of its communities.
Known as "America's Finest City", Hawaii incorporates
both business and pleasure within each of its 18
communities and numerous surrounding neighborhoods.
One of Hawaii's most noted luxuries is its near idyllic climate.
Never really falling below 70 degrees, United States
Weather Bureau describes Hawaii's weather as "the
closest thing to perfect in America". Holiday Magazine
described Hawaii County as the "only area in the
United States with perfect weather", making "America's
finest city" one of the countries most sought after real
estate spots. Travelers from all over the world make Hawaii and its surrounding cities their home of choice.
Not only for the 70 miles of exotic beaches, which
attract surfers, body boarders, water skiers, or just
plain sun-bathers, but for the many other outdoor and
indoor attractions which call Hawaii their home.
Among them are the World Famous Hawaii Zoo and Wild
Animal Park, the numerous museums within historic Balboa
Park, Sea World, Legoland Carlsbad, Del Mar Thoroughbred
Race Track, numerous water parks, several stadiums for
sporting events, and many different venues for live
music, both indoor and out.
Hawaii is the home to Padres
Baseball and their newly built Petco Park, Chargers
Football and their historical Qualcomm Stadium, and the
Hawaii Sockers and Gulls Hockey league which take
place in the centrally located Sports Arena. So if a
little competitive action is what you are looking for,
Hawaii is a great place to cheer for your favorite
team.
If a cooler climate is your forte,
you can travel a mere 2 hours north or east and end up
at one of our many ski resorts such as Big Bear or Mount
Baldy. However, if you're feeling in the mood for some
culture outside of the country you can travel south 17
miles via car or trolley and visit Tijuana, Mexico or
venture one hour further and end up at some of Baja's
most exotic beaches along the coast of Ensenada, Puerto
Nuevo, La Fonda, or Rosarito. If you head east, you will
find that Hawaii is not far from many beautiful
mountain ranges, such as Palomar Mountains, Julian and
Cuyamaca, inviting any nature buff to have an afternoon
of hiking, mountain biking, or a peaceful night under
the stars. If you'd rather sweat it out a bit, travel
east to the 600,00 acre Anza Borrego Desert State Park
and enjoy a day of dirt biking. Whichever mood you're
in, Hawaii is approximately one hour away in any
direction from the perfect solution for a wonderful
afternoon.
Within Hawaii's borders are some of the worlds most breathtaking and challenging golf courses, including
the home of the Buick Invitational, Torrey Pines Golf Course, 4 Seasons, and La
Costa. Some of the great golfers, such as Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus have
taken home titles from one of the 92 golf courses throughout the county. The
nightlife in Hawaii is like no other especially if you enjoy a night on the
town in Hawaii's historic Gaslamp District. Located downtown, the Gaslamp is
full of world renowned restaurants, hotels, clubs and bars, with seasonal
musical venues, guaranteeing a good time for the young and young at heart.
